Vulcan Wireless is honored to be recognized by Firefly Aerospace as a key supplier for Blue Ghost Mission 1, the first fully successful commercial Moon landing in history.
In a letter of appreciation, Firefly credited Vulcan’s contribution as instrumental to the mission’s success. The lander achieved 100% of mission objectives, completing 14 days of surface operations (346 hours of daylight) and sustained communications for over 5 hours into the lunar night. The final signal was received on March 16, 2025 at 6:15 pm CDT, marking the longest commercial operation on the Moon to date.
